About the Creators
We are a duo of homeschooled teenagers from opposite ends of the country who share a passion for storytelling, folklore, and finding the goblins in the ordinary.
We met on the Young Writer’s Workshop Community, and began work on The Changeling City in December of 2024. Combining our skills, inspirations, and nerd rizz, (Update: can confirm nerd rizz works, we are now dating,) we have worked through busy college schedules, intense therapy sessions, knowledge of each other’s darkest secrets, and video chats entirely consisting of maniacal laughter, to bring you the webpage you’re currently looking at. We hope you enjoy your journey through our minds.

Dream: I want to create a perfect obscure space that people will find and thrive in. Like a digital bookstore cafe or safe haven, the kind of place you could get lost in on purpose because you never want to leave.
Inspirations: Brian Froud, Ben Hatke, Tony DiTerlizzi, Terryl Whitlatch, Kazu Kibuishi.

Favorite Tea: Probably earl grey, but peppermint is a close second.

I’m a 18 year old artist originally from Philadelphia, PA, but now stationed in mountainous Asheville, North Carolina. A lover of strange and fantastical creatures, I’ve always been an avid reader of fantasy, sci-fi, and graphic novels. Goblins, trolls, dragons, and faeries of all varieties have spilled across any paper in my vicinity since I was quite little. I started painting Warhammer miniatures during the Pandemic (I’m a huge nerd, if that wasn't already obvious), and found there a love of paint and color that I would end up bringing to my drawing as well. I’m looking into possibly doing children’s book illustration as a career, or even concept and costume design for films.
Dream: To bring our visions to life through art, to connect with people through love of stories.
Inspirations: Mervyn Peake, Brian Froud, Yuri Norstein, Dylan Thomas.

Favorite Tea: Rooibos with an absolutely unacceptable amount of cream and sugar.

I’m a 19 year old writer from the woods of Washington State, which has given me a fascination with all things fantastical and strange. My passion has always been for poetry that explores emotional, existential, and whimsical themes. I’m a cinephile, lover of classic literature, musician, conspiracy theorist, cryptid hunter, and absolute chaos gremlin. I hold the misguided belief my love of 70s art rock and knowledge of obscure animated films makes me special, because I’m ultimately a pretentious nerd. I’m currently attending community college, majoring in English with the goal of writing professionally, so I can get paid for being opinionated.
